Feudal feud: Landlord orders kidnapping, public humiliation of schoolteacher

CHINIOT: A landlord in a village near Chiniot took the law into his own hands when he had a primary school teacher kidnapped after accusing him of assaulting a student. 

The schoolteacher’s face was then painted black and he was paraded through the village on a donkey, Express News reported.

The entire incident was videotaped by onlookers at the scene on the orders of the landlord as well.

Later, the landlord had villagers pelt stones at the school building where the teacher worked and asked him to beg for forgiveness on his knees.

Local police officials of the area took notice of this much later on in the day and registered an FIR against the landlord and nine other men. However, the name of the landlord was not mentioned in the FIR.
